How to find your unique voice on Twitter

“A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song” ~ Chinese Proverb

There is nothing more beautiful than the sound of singing birds as the morning sun rises.  This morning I was awoken by a robin. It was such a cheerful sound.  It felt like she was talking to me. Her tune made me feel alive and appreciated.

I like to think that when I send messages on Twitter, I am also sending cheerful smiles and appreciation to everyone who follows me. I suggest that when you tweet, you be your true self.   Show your uniqueness.   Display your creativity.  Sing your own song.

Twitter allows us to touch so many people in meaningful ways:

It can be about sharing information or sharing feelings.

It can be about making introductions and establishing new connections.

It can be about acknowledging and championing others or simply saying “Hi”.

It can be about sending words of inspiration and words of wisdom.

It can be about expressing gratitude.

Whether you be a robin, blue jay, seagull or cardinal, sing your own song.

Chirp, chirp. Tweet, tweet.

Lovely sentiment!  Thank you for sharing.  It’s always nice to see someone suggest human goals instead of just marketing/business goals.  :)
