Its been about a year since Google rolled out Google Business Photos. If you haven’t seen it, imagine it like the street view on Google Maps, but from the inside. It’s a virtual tour of your business that is linked right onto Google Maps and Google+! Google says 100K users are now using this feature, so it’s a pretty big deal.
More businesses should be taking advantage of this tool
I think every small business with an actual office or retail location should take advantage of this incredible tool. As I’ve said before, anything you can do to improve or expand your company’s profile with Google is to your great advantage (having a YouTube Channel, being on Google Places – now Google+, etc). So I strongly urge you all to check this out.
Here is a short video from Google about the service:
A real-life example of Google Business Photos

This beautiful work was done by Phoenix-based photographer Mark Spomer – a wonderful photographer certified by Google to shoot the photos used in the virtual tours.
Have you used Google Business Photos? What has been your experience? What opportunities do you see for the future for services like this?
