I’ve been sifting through a study of user behavior on Pinterest and thought this was an appropriate graphic to share to foreshadow it. Not only are photos easier to consume, more likely to be shared, but for certain the act of Pinning or Liking acts as a precursor to buy (spoiler alert: I don’t think there is a lot of evidence suggesting this is a high-frequency event).
In any event, photos and videos are an important part of a brand’s content mix and I appreciate how this infographic communicates this.
