While email marketing seems like a remnant of the 1990s, there’s a lot of data that suggests that email is very effective, particularly to re-engage past customers. The statistics on this infographic seem to substantiate that somewhat.

Let me know what you think about this one.

I aspire to give people something to think about rather than tell them what to do. My favorite Google Alert is "social media research," I am increasingly compelled by Gen Z, and I appreciate good writers agnostic of where they write. At one time I was Kred's 12th most influential social media blogger and Klout's most influential person on the topic of David Hasselhoff. Transplant from Seattle living in Cincinnati. Haven't entirely adopted the local sports teams yet.

Email is still a
wonderful way to communicate. Unlike the more “modern” methods, email
allows the receiver to pick up the message at his or her leisure. Email
is not as good for “conversations”, but it is a great way to send a
message.
